written May 9, 2017We were taught that Scouting is about Leadership, Citizenship and Skills for self reliance. We went our way in pursuit of the Eagle Scout Rank. And after which, after secondary education, we somehow shelved the concept of being a scout to aim for other life goals. We believe then that a scout will always be a scout until time separated us from that notion. We found ourselves totally disengaged of being a scout disconnected and eventually can not go back to it anxious that we are not capable of being one anymore.
It is in this.....that we conceptualized this Eagle Scout Nests. A nest as we know as synonymous to a home. A safe and comfortable place to be with our brothers. Eagles Nests is ours and we all belong to this nest. In this nest, we will renew our primost goal of being a Scout. We will review or reeducate ourselves of the scout skills and become familiar practical life skills we adopt at our everyday lives. We will serve as inspiration among other scouts practicing our skills and sharing them to other scouts in their Eagle Scout Award pursuits. To serve our community the best possible way to create awareness about the advantages of being a Scout. We will bind ourselves closer at each other. To love and respect one another like real brothers. Pure, hones and lively at all times.
It is imperative though that we should avoid politics in the Eagle Scouts' Nests. Brotherhood among every member should at all times be considered. Selflessness is always above selfish interests. Team Spirit is to be practice at all times. The Scout Oath & Law is to be seriously observed.
